Much has already been written and said about Pink Floyd, including some events & anecdotes that have passed into Rock & Roll folklore. My aim in creating this website is to give the personal thoughts & musings from an almost 4-decade love affair with the band & their music.

It all started when a school pal played the Meddle album to me, at that time it was their latest release! I was completely mesmorised by this music which was so atmospheric and appeared to have something to say about our hopes & fears. I've been a big fan of the band ever since. I'll be forever indebted to that old mate, many thanks Nick Garthwaite - wherever you are!

It is with sadness we note the passing of Norman 'Hurricane' Smith (1923-2008), the produder of the Floyd's early works, and who helped shape their unique sound.
